COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Imagine if Red Trolley T-boned a semi full of hops. Brewed with an overload of hops and five types of caramel malt, this full-bodied strong ale has plum, raisin, and caramel flavors that are balanced by an aggressive hop bitterness and warming finish. ABV: 8% 30 SRM 70 IBU 22 Plato

Aroma: caramel malt. Alcohol. Toffee. Nuts. Piney hops. Appearance: gorgeous clear copper with red highlights. Small white head some lacing. Flavor: smooth caramel and dried fruit turning to more bitterness in the aftertaste. Some sweetness in the finish as well. Caramel totes persist long after each sip. Mouthfeel: medium high body. Medium carbonation. Alcohol warmth. Overall: a decent imperial red ale. A bit harsh in flavor, sort of like a mix between red ale and barley wine. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I wouldn’t say the hops are aggressive at all, but a nice suped up version of red trolley. Big in body without being hot.

22 oz bottle. Bottled on 11/19/14. Thanks to Timo A! Clear red amber color with a small tan head. Berries, sweet dark fruits and mild hops in the aroma. The flavor is sweet hops, dark fruits, strawberry, grainy malt and mild bitterness. Quite balanced but not my favorite. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

65 cl bottle (8.5% abv) @ Timo A. BBE 19.11.2015.
Pours clear amber color with a small head. Very nutty and bready aroma, sweet caramel malts and resinous hops, some pine also. Sweet caramel malt flavor, nuts, subtle coffee notes, toffee and resin. Sweetish, full-bodied, tasty. A bit Bock-like. Definitely better than the Red Trolley Ale, more balanced.

650ml bottle. Clear copper colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Caramel malty aroma with a touch of almond and powdered sugar, some mandarine zest, a touch of plum. Taste is caramel malty, notes of almond, diluted plum. Simple and a bit monotonous - diluted Barley Wine.
