UPDATED: MAY 1, 2016 Restrained aroma in a copper pour. Full bodied flavour tends to the sweet/malt but quick clean finish leaves one wanting another (and there’s nothing wrong with that). Zita (6325) - Assentoft, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2015
bread aroma, orange, clear, off white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, soft carbonation, bitter bread finish. laiti (8481) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 20, 2015

Aroma has coffee, bready malt and some sweet malty notes typical to ASAs. Flavour has roasted tones, resin, sweet malty tones and nuts. Like an ASA mixed with dunkel. Too sweet for my taste. saxo (18738) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2015

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark reddish pour with thin off white head, aroma brought big caramel, toffee, red fruit into some slight pine, spice, almost a rye note into some earth, slight herbal notes as well. Taste was a mix of red fruit, touch of orange into caramel, toffee, some toasted bread into herbal, grassy hops, finishing slightly bitter, dry. ericwill99 (86) - Texas, USA - JAN 8, 2015
Smooth and very sweet. I know the hops are scored at 70, but I don't taste them. I also don't taste the alcohol - dangerous! BeerandBlues2 (13594) - Escondido, California, USA - JAN 5, 2015
Bottle at the hotel. Pours clear tawny with a medium, frothy off-white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is sweet toast and bread malt, figs, maple syrup, dates and light earthy hops. Full body and medium carbonation. ads135 (4701) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - NOV 11, 2014
A pretty good, dark amber beer. Potent and rich raisin, brown sugar and bread character. Picked this one up in SF in 2014.
