Bomber from Beverages 4 Less in Santee, CA. Pours dark ruddy coppery with a creamy/fizzy beige head. Aroma is smooth roast malt with something like Italian prune. Med body, barely. Flavor is roast malt, fairly smooth, with some mild dark fruit and a bit of citrus hop. It’s bitter, but nothing approaching a NW standard. Nice, bitter, fruity, but not breaking really new ground. The continuing mild dark fruit is pleasing. BeerandBlues2 (13814) - Escondido, California, USA - JAN 5, 2015

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2010 Sample at the Universal City location. Pours a clear dark reddish-amber color with a thin off-white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing. Rich malty aroma with notes of dark fruit. Medium to full slightly syrupy body with a sweet malty character. Flavors of caramel and toffee along with dark fruit and a touch of hops. The finish is sweet almost to the point of being cloying, with a caramel malt aftertaste. A little unbalanced on the sweet side but still a decent beer.
