I wouldn’t say the hops are aggressive at all, but a nice suped up version of red trolley. Big in body without being hot. jcwattsrugger (12517) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - MAY 22, 2012
on tap-pours amber with a tan head. Aroma is rich light/medium malt-caramel, some resin. Taste is rich light/medium malt-caramel, 2nd resin hops. rosenbergh (11760) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 11, 2015
22 oz bottle. Bottled on 11/19/14. Thanks to Timo A!
Clear red amber color with a small tan head.
Berries, sweet dark fruits and mild hops in the aroma.
The flavor is sweet hops, dark fruits, strawberry, grainy malt and mild bitterness. Quite balanced but not my favorite.

Pours clear amber color with a small head. Very nutty and bready aroma, sweet caramel malts and resinous hops, some pine also. Sweet caramel malt flavor, nuts, subtle coffee notes, toffee and resin. Sweetish, full-bodied, tasty. A bit Bock-like. Definitely better than the Red Trolley Ale, more balanced.
Pour on tap at the brewery, dark reddish pour with thin off white head, aroma brought big caramel, toffee, red fruit into some slight pine, spice, almost a rye note into some earth, slight herbal notes as well. Taste was a mix of red fruit, touch of orange into caramel, toffee, some toasted bread into herbal, grassy hops, finishing slightly bitter, dry. bb (9697) - Alamo, California, USA - JUL 18, 2011
Draft. Rich amber beer with a dark cream colored head. Caramel and pine aroma with light darker malts. Grapefruit and pine flavor with caramel. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Caramel and grapefruit lingers with pine. blipp (9598) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUL 19, 2014
Draft at the tasting room. Pours deep amber with a beige head. Sweet caramel and faint crystal malts, fruity and earthy hops, and some candy sweetness. Not bad, but just a touch too heavy on the sweet malt character for my taste.
