Clear golden appearance, decent head formation. Malty fruity aroma, fairly hoppy. Sweet clean malt intro, mild cokie dough, grainy cereal finish. Krawtschenko (4) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - DEC 8, 2004 does not count
Not KS’s best. Better when had on draft as opposed to bottled. Must agree that it is not what you expect when you hear Oktoberfest. Not much in the way of hop flavors. Silphium (3199) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - FEB 8, 2006
Slightly hazy straw-colored body with suspended yeast sediment; thin off-white head. Toasty aroma with caramel and light hints of butterscotch. Cerealy, toasty body with plenty of grassy hops, tart at the front and finishing with an earthy bitterness. Thin-bodied. A bit too much sharp acidity to be called quaffable. Thanks fordest for the bottle! Snojerk321 (2960) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 28, 2007
on draft @ my Charger party. A great beer for a big party that actually has flavor. Medium amber body with a creamy off white head. Everybody liked it. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - APR 12, 2007
Smells of a regular imported pilsner. Actually reminds me of Heineken sans skunkiness. Appearance is of a blonde ale/lager. Flavor is the same. Easy to drink. It’s ok.

Bottle. Poured straw color very small head, very light apple malt aroma. Quite thin for the style, some sweet malt but a bit of a metallic finish that put me off. Not a very good marzen at all. joshpiledean (316) - Seattle, Washington, USA - NOV 23, 2004
Clear gold. No head. Armoa is some sweet malts, some weak hops. Boring flavor is all malt, sweet and grainy. Light/medium body is alright, but the rest is really uneventful. Ibrew2or3 (8743) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - NOV 2, 2006
12oz bottle. Clear golden color with no head. Aroma of sweet malts and maybe cereal too. Flavor is like the aroma with a bit of sweet malts and corn flakes. Some noble like hops round out the flavor. nightrider (754) - encinitas, California, USA - SEP 23, 2007
On tap at Encinitas Oktoberfest. Nice white head with an amber hue. Minimal aromas but slight malt sweetness. Pleasant and thin on the palate. Not much depth of flavor or finish but pleasant for a warm beautiful sunny north county san diego day. Lagunitasfan (1323) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 21, 2008
12 oz bottle. Thick, light cream head. Medium amder in color. Light malty fruityness on the nose. Taste is bleh. Sharp metallic and not a whole lot more. Not a drain pour, but not much positive to say either.
