thanks to Ibrew2or3-Tampa Weekly Gathering @BT Wesley Chapel-22oz bottle-pours a dissipating light tan head and amber/copper color. Aroma is medium/dark malt-roasty. Taste is medium/dark malt-roasty, some earthy hops. hopscotch (11113) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - DEC 26, 2010
Bottle... Very dark, burnt orange porter with a small, creamy, khaki head. The nose is a malty, earthy swirl of milk chocolate, toasted nuts and rooty herbs. Medium to full-bodied with a plush mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Sweet milk chocolate and candied nuts with whispers of ginger and sarsaparilla. Lengthy, sweet, spicy finish. Bottle courtesy of darkguardian! mjg74 (3106) - La Mesa, California, USA - DEC 25, 2010
Bomber from BevMo. Very deep amber/ruby in color. Stong roastred malt aroma. Some coffee and vanilla. Kind of sweet as well. Smooth and creamy. Some burnt coffee to go along with milky candy sugar. A little alcohol is present. Enjoyable sipper. alexanderj (3605) - Branson, Missouri, USA - DEC 24, 2010
Bottle; poured a dark brown color with a large, semi-frothy dark khaki head. Aroma of fruit, caramel, roasted malt, wood, alcohol, brown sugar. Flavor had much more a chocolate flavor, which was really nice. Fruit, caramel, oak, dark fruit and a hint of coffee. Smooth and just the touch of the barrel. Very easy to drink. Very good. sebletitje (10080) - Enghien, BELGIUM - DEC 23, 2010

Bottle courtesy exiled. Orange colored pour. Light carbonation. Aroma is sweet malt, caramelly but remains light. Flavor is sweet but has a sharp element. Peanutty flavor. BrotherGrendel (787) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 17, 2010
Bottle. Dark brown-amber with tan head. Nose is roast, light fruit, cocoa, and alcohol. Flavor is rich sweet cocoa and roast malts up front with a melange of fruity esters, vanilla and oak in the sweet, warming finish. Medium-full body, thick texture, mild carbonation. An impressive one-off from the SD patriarch, good to see KS brewers experiment more with beer styles. doubleo (1432) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 15, 2010
Little bit of a let down. Pours dark, chocolatey brown with a thin offwhite head, specks of lace. Smells subdued, sweet roasted malts, chocolate and some booze. Tastes sweet and chocolatey with roasted malts and some sweet barrel booze that builds towards the finish. Medium body, tries to be full but not quite, ok carbonation. jeremytoni (3058) - Swedesboro, New Jersey, USA - DEC 12, 2010
From a bottle poured a brown color with a fair amount of head. Toasted malty flavor with a lingering aftertaste.
