Draught Almost no head, cold-hazed pale amber beer. Nice inviting USA hopsí nose, fruity, citrussy, melon. Mandarine in the mouth, lightly spicy, some sweetish malts, ever so slighlty toasted. Slightly overcarbonated (or nitrogenated?) feel, too spritzy; light body, slick. Nice pale ale USA style. aleph (231) - - APR 20, 2012
Draught @ El Cajon Brewing. Reddish amber with a bubbly off-white head. Piney, hoppy nose with floral citrus. Smooth, medium high carbonation. JohnC (3008) - Mission Viejo, California, USA - APR 5, 2012
I had this on tap at Karl Strauss in Costa Mesa. Itís a nice golden pour with good balance between the hops & malt. cooplander (543) - Florida, USA - MAR 25, 2012

Beer #3 in a flight. The most lemon Iíve had in a beer that didnít have a slice dropped it. Also had a touch of hops and a touch of pine, but none of it was very heavy. Perfect to drink when cleaning the house, though donít use pine sol -- the aroma would overpower the beer.

22 Jan 2012, bottle. light orange, clear, some steady bubbles. lightly raisiny malty ale w/ some faint piney hops. med body and fizzy. slightly oatmealy malt w/ some bland grassy hops. this is really mediocre. Hoss (607) - Florida, USA - SEP 15, 2011
A rather ordinary yet very drinkable pale ale. Was hoping to sample more of this brewers art but a power outage cut it short. User134089 (1644) - - AUG 23, 2011
UPDATED: OCT 21, 2011 Poured from a bottle into a pilsner glass. Just over an inch of head. Color was caramel. Plenty of lacing on top with some film on the sides. The film stayed throughout the pour.
Initial whiff was pine and grapefruit, followed by hops.
Initial taste was a pleasant balance of hops, pine and grapefruit, followed by a small hint of bitterness. Even some lemon wafer cookies in there as well.
Moderate on the carbonation. Flavor stayed consistent throughout. Pine and hops rule the day.
I thought this beer was going to be good and it didnít disappoint. Heavy on the hops, but smooth. Great combination.

tap at brewpub in downtown San Diego-pours bright orange with a small white head. nose is piney with light diacytl, especially as it warmed a bit. some sweet grain notes detected in the nose (cereal and cracker). flavors of sweet hops, grainy malt and light sweetness. ok but nothing special. i had high hopes for this beer since it was going to be a cask offering a few days after i sampled it. some lite earthy and herbal notes on the finish-became very herbal over time. ok. [Bottle] Golden amber hue, modest head formation. Citrussy hop, mild caramel aroma. Citrussy lemon and grapefruit from start to finish, malt is minimal making for a rather light body. Decent light, hoppy pale ale.
