Have’nt tried it on tap yet, but the bottled version has a nice and unsuspecting aroma!

Excellent pale ale. Great amber color. Smooth balanced hops aroma and flavor. Full bodied but easy to drink several over the course of the night. Smooth finish without overpowering hops in the end. My favorite San Diego Pale Ale.

Hands down my favorite beer. Awesome a true San Diego Classic. Caramel, roasty, spruce, citrus, woody, vanilla,

Again, great packaging--love the cruiser and beach reference! Amber, color like dark caramel, good head, legs--wraps around the glass; strong flavor with hints of citrus and sweet (flowers), good smooth taste, not too bubbly-fun bubbles!

Such a good beer! The color is really nice and rich for a pale ale. The flavors are nice and sweet, yum!

(12oz bottle thanks to blutt59) Deep clear gold with white head. Aroma of pine, light fruit, light malt. Flavor doesn’t match aroma, light malt body, grassy, light grain with a pine resin bitter. Mouth feel is light and watery. Overall, it’s ok.

From a tap poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a lingering finish.

JohnnyJ (5572) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 17, 2010
Tap at PP Carlsbad. Light amber pour, small off-white head. Grassy citrus hops in the aroma, nice and fresh smelling, with some malt. Flavor has more malt profile, with bread and grain. Overall very light, easy to drink, but much like water. Meh.

3.5
mar (5468) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAY 17, 2010
bottle thanks to blutt59. poured amber with a cream head. nose is big bitter hops, grapefruits, and esters. smooth on the palate, flavor is smooth piney hops, and a clean finish.
