From bottle into tulip glass. Poured light amber with a billowing head. Grassy and fruity notes on the nose that carried through to the palate. Modestly bitter. Enjoyable taste from beginning to end. sonnycheeba (6561) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 7, 2015
Tap at 4S location. Pours clear amber with white head. Aroma is pale malts, grassy and floral hops, and light citrus. Flavor is dry malt base with decent hop character and some fruity notes. Light/medium body and medium carbonation. Wittales (884) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - FEB 18, 2015
Appearance was orangish gold with creamy lasting white 2 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are soft citrus, earthery hops then caramel sweet malts, no alcohol. Taste are grapefruit, lemon, soft earthery spicy hops upfront. Then soft sweet malt middle supports the smooth citrusy, light spice and wood smooth backend. Palate was smooth creamy CO2 with medium body, then a balanced lasting slightly drying finish. Overall an solid APA, smooth pale. k0mpsa (3190) - Tuusula, FINLAND - FEB 13, 2015
Bottle from bws broadbeach, australia. Hazy dark copper color, tanned head. Aroma is nicely fruity and hopped. Very nice fruity and hoppy taste, fresh leafs, malty body on the back. Very good apa.

As soon as I opened this beer, as well as the hiss, there was an immediate surge of resinous hops in my nostrils. Crikey. The body of the beer is orange amber with a puffy white head and another blast of herbal hoppiness when I poke my nose anywhere near the beer. It is strongly reminiscent of green spruce cones and redwood resin. Just glorious. The immediate impressions of the taste is that it isnt as massive as its aroma. It is gently carbonated and then those herbs come through with a slightly sweet stonefruit body but then they return with chlorophyll-like bitterness. I am not in the least disappointed. It’s a good exemplar of its style while retaining its individuality. It’s more herbal than other APAs and delightfully so. jandd1983 (4690) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - OCT 23, 2014
On tap at the San Diego downtown brewpub. It poured a golden color with an off-white head. The aroma was of malt, fruits, caramel, citrus and some bread. The taste was light to medium sweet with fruit and caramel and a nice bitter finish. Decent.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2017 Citrus aroma in an amber pour. A delightful drink that ticks all the Pale Ale boxes with a perfectly balanced body and a laid back, but sustained, bitter finish.
