Schöne Erscheinung im Glas, leichtes Gushing. In der Nase blumig, Zitrus, Äpfel. Im Trunk leicht alkoholisch, fruchtig, leicht holzig im Abgang, dann etwas alkoholisch. Feines Bierchen, Der Abgang trübt etwas die Drinkability. Trotzdem lecker. Plovmand (8266) - Helsinge, DENMARK - JUL 20, 2015
Bottle. It pours mostly clear golden with a creamy white head. The aroma is quite malty with a fruity and light piney hop character. Caramel malty backbone in the flavor with lighter piney and grassy hops. Citrus and bread notes. Easy drinkable. beertholomeus (1813) - California, USA - SEP 15, 2016
Pours a burnt golden orange color with a white head. Resin, hop, citrus, floral and biscuit aroma and flavors with a hint of oxidation. Medium body and carbonation with a citrus, floral and resin finish. drjoeng (1230) - SINGAPORE - OCT 9, 2016
5.3%ABV. Pale ale.
Poured out deep gold. 10ºSRM.
Nose is sweet with caramel and corn syrup. Not a whole lot of freshness in the nose. Maybe a hint of pine oil. Sweet citrus with orange peel and blossoms. Nose has some nice honey aromas.
Mouthfeel is light soapy. Palate has some nice clean toasted breadcrumbs, Hops are spicy with cilantro, Thai basil.
Finish is brief and clean. MetalNHopHead (1918) - Lincoln, Nebraska, USA - DEC 13, 2016
In the West Coast, the line between Pale Ale and India Pale Ale is getting more blurred all the time. At 5.3% ABV and 47 IBU’s, Pintail is refreshing in that it fits exactly where it should. While it IS hop-forward, there’s a balance that really works here. The tropical, herbaceous hops are partially offset by the honey, biscuit malt characteristics. The bright, crisp hop notes hit right where you want them: at the tip of the tongue and the back of the mouth. Right in between is a rich, malty middle. It definitely did right by my palate.

Draft at Disney’s California Adventure Park. Nose of pine and floral hops with some light caramel balance. Clear light amber with a medium off white head. Flavor is piney bitterness finishing with a light dose of the bitter remaining. Decently hoppy beer if you are at Disneyland with the family, but you will need a parkhopper or CA ticket to get you in to get some! Ungstrup (37334) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUN 21, 2009
