Bottle from Beverages4Less. Pours a beautiful orange copper with a three finger beige head. Nice resin aroma. Medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is earthy, caramel and rather floral/resin. Lots of flavor. Bitter right on through the end. Quite nice; rather polished. Gets a little grapefruit after awhile. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 27, 2010

(22oz bottle) Pours a clear copper body with a medium white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pineapple, earth, and caramel. Flavor of citrus, grass, caramel malt, and florals with a dry, bitter finish. hopscotch (11051) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 8, 2010
Bottle… RBWG ‘10… Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. The bouquet is more malt-forward than hoppy – doesn’t bother me a bit. Full-bodied with soft carbonation. Like the nose, the flavor is nicely bittered, but is a tad more sweet than bitter. Finishes up much the same. Thanks to growler for popping the top on this one!

Hazy orange with a medium off white head. Hoppy nose with grapefruits, pine and peach. Loads of hops in the grapefruity flavour that also carried, peach, lemons and oranges. Hints of malt in there as well. Dry and bitter. Finish.

Bottle. Pours with nice and hazy orange golden body. Small, off-white head. Aroma of earthy, woody hops, tons of caramel. Not citrusy at all. Some light fruit aroma. Taste is probably the most earthy and herbal hop profile I can imagine. It is definitely bitter, and hoppy, but not the hops I like or expect in a DIPA. Creamy to strong carbonation. Crisp and lightly alcoholic. I want to love it but I do not like the hop profile, which in the end is the essence of this very fresh DIPA. 22oz bottle: Pours a transparent copper amber with a stringy-lacing froth of off-white head. Aroma of juicy resiny grapefuity hops with some caramel candy notes and toffee sweetness. Body starts with decent fullness and sweet sticky caramel maltiness with some floral grapefruity hop flavor and bitterness before a drier crisp bittersweet finish with a touch of peppery alcoholic warmth. A fairly well-balanced and enjoyable double IPA, but could use a less sugary malty base. AmEricanbrew (6878) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - MAR 4, 2010
