Crisp, light IPA. Hops not overwhelming, but lingering piney taste kept me coming back for more! BigBang (299) - Indiana, USA - JUN 12, 2009
Decent IPA on tap. Moderate hops - some pine notes. Decent brew - moderate mouthfeel. Not bad but not memorable.

Bottle. Pours a light orange color, with average head and lacing. Aroma is orange citrusy, and piney, a little sharp. Flavor has a nice grapefruit-bitter bite, along with piney notes and a fair amount of spiciness. Finishes on the dry side, and with lingering bitterness. A nice example of a AIPA. mjg74 (3199) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 9, 2009

12 oz bottle from Bev4less. Pours an amber-orange with a small white head. The aroma is hoppy with some orange peel and pine. The flavor has pine, grapefruit and biter breads. The mouthfeel is smooth and malty. The finish is medium in duration with lingering biter hops. Overall; One of karl Strauss’ better offerings, a good session IPA. 12 oz. bottle, six pack from BevMo. Pours a clear, rich copper color with a small whitish head that diminishes rapidly. Aroma of toasty malts, herbs and sweet bread, hints of clover and citrus. Flavor also of toasty malts, a bit of caramel, biter herby hops, lemon grass, citrus peel, a bit of clay and a slightly peppery, astringent finish. Medium body, lightly oily and a gentle tingle on the tongue. Overall a much better, hoppier IPA than their standard.
