COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mission Beach, the late 1980s. Amid a sea of neon bikinis, Tower 10 marked the spot where two college grads and a 75 year-old master brewer drew up plans for the first local craft brewery in San Diego since Prohibition. Named in honor of our first good idea, Tower 10 IPA is brewed to inspire the next one.

Tower 10 IPA boasts hops from beginning to end, and everywhere in between. We fill the brew kettle to the brim with assertive Chinook hops, giving the beer its intense grapefruit and pine flavors that linger through its dry finish. After fermentation, we dry hop with a blend of Cascade and Centennial hops for a floral citrus aroma. A touch of lightly kilned caramel malts make Tower 10 a well balanced, full flavor IPA.

Tap at brewery. Pours copper with white head. Aroma and flavor are pine, citrus, floral and hoppy. Relatively weak overall but certainly drinkable.

Good balance for first 1/3, but the bitterness come strong later.should be nice to drink when hot and thirsty. And not to wait until its get to the room temperature.

Bottle from Yamaichi. Nice citrusy nose with solid caramel behind it. Orange/amber color. Large caramel initial, sweet overripe peaches, and gentle consistent bittering. Medium body. Pretty much hits the middle range spots for the style. Tasty but not pushing any boundaries.

Wittales (884) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 26, 2014
Appearance was hazy orangish gold with creamy white lasting 1 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are citrus fruits, caramel and pale malts with soft pine and earthy leather. Taste are orange, grapefruit upfront gives way to toffee sweetness, then pine back with clean yeasts. Palate was smooth creamy CO2 with medium body, then fruity piney lasting finish. A solid SD IPA, tad to sweet.

Plesasant citrus nose, orange. Fruit cake flavor, caramel malt, plenty of citrus hops, touch of mint, strong bitter finish. Pretty classic Californian ale, quite smooth with a decent crisp.

Pours cloudy orange to golden color with a minimal head. Aroma is malt, caramel, oranges. Taste is rather dry and crisp, thin malt body. Bitterness is above medium, rather broad and long lasting. Perfect carbonation. Good IPA, but the malt body is lacking a bit.

Tantalising pine through to the dry bitterness. Good carbonation gives it a rich white head and cloudy body gives away a positive signal as an IPA. You would not like any munch to go with this beer, there is much flavour and aroma to savour in itself. Good crafty craft beer which I certainly like to share with good friends over a lengthy chat.

355 ml bottle. BBE 06.01.2016.
Pours clear golden color with a large white head. Piney, grassy aroma, mandarin and orange peel too, floral hops and faint resin. Grapefruity, citric flavor, subtle caramel sweetness, some hops, pale malts and distant toffee notes. Juicy fruitiness on the aftertaste. Very easy to drink, a decent juicy IPA.

Bottle from Snojerk321. Pours a nice copper color and disappearing head. Nose is citrus and a touch of caramel. On taste, I get a bit of an earthy taste with a lighter hop character than expected. Touch of metal as well. Overall, this isn’t a bad IPA, actually pretty decent.
