Bonita espuma, clara y cristalina.
Aroma a pino, resina, lúpulo, fruta tropical. En boca es bastante amarga pero agradable. Intenso sabor a lúpulo. MarcoDL (4849) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 10, 2016
Bottle. Golden pour. Nice aroma of citrus, orange and grassy hop. Fresh flavor with citrus, caramel at first and then some malt, pine, crisp and mild raisinous hops. Tasty. vandc01 (407) - North Branch, USA - MAR 15, 2016

Appearance was a clearer orange with a medium head. Nose was pleasant and florally hoppy. The taste was smooth and hoppy but not overwhelmingly bitter. A nice daily drinking IPA. Glad I was in LA and happend to try it. trevor211 (1681) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUL 6, 2010
Pours a transparent medium orange. More hops than other California IPAs - this is more refreshing than others I’ve had. Really good. Citrus and caramel dominate, with some good balance.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2011 Drank out of a bottle. Color was gold. Couldn’t see head, film or lacing.
Smell was pine and citrus hops. Slightly bitter sniff.
Citrus was the initial taste. Fairly smooth with a bitter finish.
Medium body. Lively carbonation. Pretty smooth.
Not a bad beer. I wish I could have enjoyed it more, but I’ll give it another try for sure.

Pretty good IPA. I’m here for San Diego Beer Week and just had their special Heavy Pettie Double IPA which, according to claims is more bitter, but seems less. This beer was served in a pint shaker with a decent, fine, foamy, off white head that soon settled down and a lots of fine lace. Color is a clear amber. Aroma is hop, malt, resin, a little barn. caramel. Flavor’s much the same with more impact. Balance is heavy in favor of bitter, quite dry, and some good carbonic tang. Body & carbonation are good. Finish is like flavor and has long legs. If you get a chance go for the Heavy Pettie. This’ll do instead if ye caint. Jado (798) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - SEP 4, 2012
330 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with a one-finger white head. Pine resin and flowers on the nose. The taste is dominated by hops as you might expect. Good malt backbone underlies pine and citrus flavours. Assertive bitterness typical of the style is present but doesn’t overwhelm. Dry finish but a slightly sweet fruity aftertaste lingers. Fine example of a West Coast IPA. asheft (3062) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 27, 2012
[on tap at Napa Rose, Disneyland]
Citrusy and slightly spicy hops aroma with some caramel. Clear amber under a lasting, off-white cover. Potent west coast hops flavour with sweet caramel and gentle bitterness that thankfully doesn’t numb your tongue. Delicate, for an IPA. Medium body, medium carbonation, sweet and slightly bitter finish.
