COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It was 2011 when we first released Two Tortugas Belgian Quad as our holiday ale. It was supposed to be a one-time release for the holidays, but your feedback demanded otherwise. Six batches and numerous medals later, our Belgian Quad is back in all its original glory. Two Tortugas has aromas of dark fruit and caramel, with a slight hint of bubblegum from the Belgian Abbey yeast. This beer is robust and full-bodied with rich malty flavors of toffee, plums, and dates. Drink it now or lay it down – Two Tortugas’ journey is just getting started.

Shared with Strkyzone on Facebook Chat. The 22 oz bomber poured a dark copper with a tan head. Nose is malty, with dark fruit - raisins, plums, banana, candy, and some cloves. Full body and a very smooth mouthfeel. The high alcohol is very well hidden but still sneaks up on you. The flavor is of dark ripe fruit. Warm, sweet, and alcoholic finish. A very delicious brew that stays consistent from first to last drop and keeps surprising you with new subtle flavors.

Bomber from Hayduke. We both had a bottle and enjoyed it together via facebook chat. This poured pretty much clear mid brown and had no head at all. A nose of fruit and molasses. First sip is dark fruit and toffee. Especially cherries. Alcohol is hidden nicely but my legs sure feel funny. There might be just a hint of spice but it is hidden almost as well as the alcohol. This beer stayed steady throughout the bottle despite temperature changes. This was tasty and dangerous.

Bomber. Pours a mostly clear ruby color with almost no head. A sweet nose of spices and fruit. A nice flavor of dates, plum, some light cinnamon, nutmeg, a bit of orange zest. Pretty warm. A light estery banana. Decent, certainly decadent.

Good dense yellow head; red-brown beer with lively carbonation. Wood, caramel, shoecream, and again this "Crème Anglaise", this time in the nose. Sweet and fruity character, caramel and red grapes, ashes. Well carbonated, medium to well-bodied; Very good and rich Belgian strong dark ale.

On tap at Congregation Ale House. Big malty nose with tobacco, raisins, plum, and light smoke. No hop aroma. Dark coppery amber clear with very thin head. Heavy body with medium carbonation, light alcohol warming. Big sweet start with raisins, biscuit, tobacco, and plum. Sugary sweet with sweet finish. No bitterness. Sweet after but not cloying. Tasty stuff.

I had this on tap at Out of the Park Pizza. It’s a big malty beer that finishes sweetly, with notes of cherry. The big alcohol percentage is well hidden.
