Ya ya ya. On tap. It’s a citrus-lemon-spicy-orangey-cloudy type wheat beer. Light and for the sunshine only. You know what they taste like... right? can8ianben (1583) - State College, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 24, 2007
UPDATED: MAR 20, 2009 Served far too cold and with a huge lemon wedge at California Pizza Kitchen. However after warming slightly I could tell this was a solid offering. Very cloudy yellow. Not transparent at all - almost like an orange smoothy in appearance. A big frothy white head and maybe a little too much carbonation. Perfect balance of sweet/sour citrus notes blended with the classic banana and clove aroma and flavor. Somewhat dry and bitter in the finish, but a delicious beverage none the less. kp (10880) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007
Rerate: Just had this a second time at Islands Burgers without realizing that I’d already had it. Again served too cold, VERY high carbonation. Some weird off flavors - almost in a cheap homebrew malt kind of way. Going to knock it down a bit.

Taster from the tap in Sorrento valley: Pale cloudy yellow with a small eggshell white head. Aroma is banana and hints of spice. Flavor is banana up front with hints of wheat and clove. Light body is thin with moderate carbonation. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - JUL 12, 2013
Tap at Steam Haus Gastropub in Corona, CA. KS. Hazy gold pour, glowing, with minimal foam. Nice estery nose, more yellow apple than expected and certainly more hefeweizen than American wheat. Taste is chalky and vegetal... overripe with diacetyl. As it warms, it gains some lemon acid, yellow apple cider character. It’s certainly drinkable, just has a few off flavors.

On tap. Normal wheat beer appearance with slight clouding. Fruity, spicy aroma. The flavor is a little different, slightly tangy and citrusy. Thin to medium palate. Not bad. KUEric (978) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JAN 4, 2006
On Tap: A very average hefe. Thought it was a good example, but kind of weak and sterotypical. Bannanas, wheat, cloves, bubble gum, were the flavors and aromas. I agree that it was drinkable but kind of boring. sersdf (1020) - chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 25, 2007
kinda light for a hefe. tons of banana candy in aroma. way undercarbonated. tastes pretty good but the body kills it completely. RunDWP (203) - San Jose, California, USA - AUG 13, 2008
Sampler on tap at downntown San Diego brewpub. A little yeasty aroma, yeasty flavor, with some tropical fruit notes. Looks and pours like any other hefe. Interesting take on the style. hopdog (13102) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 5, 2008
On tap at the Karl Strauss Beer Cart located in Disneyland.
Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a small sized white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, and light citrus. Tastes of wheat, with ligther bananas and lighter cloves. An average and drinkable Hefe.
