On cask @ Karl Strauss Costa Mesa. Black pour with a tan head. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, and coffee nose. Hints of charred oak, molasses, and some vanilla. Nice licorice and burnt sugar. Flavor is heavy on the roast and burnt sugar. Dark chocolate, coffee, and some charred oak. Light vanilla sweetness, dark fruit, and molasses.
