Excellent and few simple ingredients make this the best dark lager ever. Dark and caramalized taste with a very good balance of maltiness and hops. Definitely recommended for beer connoisseurs. The aroma is very appealing as is the very dark appearance. The taste balances off any strong or light meal. The plate is great from the first sip to the last drop swallowed. The overall feeling is that this is a must beer for anyone serious about trying a great dark lager.Camons (13313) - Hasselager, DENMARK - JUL 17, 2016

Karlovačko crno contains very good basic ingredients with a dark color, malty caramalized taste. The beer has a great balance maltiness and bitterness expected from a dark lager. The alcohol does not strike the head as other beers and a real beer connoiseur is able to enjoy this beer, especially those who prefer dark lagers.
Bottle @ Jacobs. Pours black with a creamy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, burnt toast, nuts, littel coffee. Flavor is light sweet, malty, caramel, toast, coffee, some light sourness.Thin to medium body, average carbonation. 170716 Enjoyit (3809) - Vadum, DENMARK - JUL 13, 2016
Almost black of color with a brown head. An aroma of roasted malt, sweets, prunes, coffee and hints of chocolate. A flavor of prunes, coffee, roasted malt and weak sweets.Antonio369 (221) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - JUL 3, 2016

0,5 l from can. Poured dark reddish brown with two finger light tannish head. Aroma: sugared candy, roasted malts, vanilla. Taste: loads of sugar, caramel, vanilla, roasted malts, chocolate. Light body with a sweet malty finish. Nothing complex here, bit of a sugar overdose. Drinkable. nephirem (622) - CROATIA - MAY 12, 2016
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2017 Pours a dark ruby, almost black colour with medium, slightly off-white head. Lager smell with a hint of caramel.
Thin body with high carbonation and watery texture. Slightly bittersweet. Aroma is pretty weak. Really nothing to it, plain lager with very weak licorice and smoke notes. Feels very artificial and not really tasty.
Very disappointed with this one. 1.9/5
===== Update. Quite better then it used to be. Softer, creamier. Nicely balanced malty sweet taste, subtly roasted. Some slight acidity towards the finish but not a big deal. Enjoyable dunkel.

UPDATED: APR 24, 2016 Aroma is quite average except from some roastiness. Appearance is dark brown, light foamy head. Has a full body with I?d say average carbonation. Taste has hints of caramel and has a roasted feel. A decent beer, I like it. Feels like something inbetween Saku Dublin and Guinness. CH-303 (2362) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - JAN 31, 2016

Dark brown, almost black, medium sized beige head. Kinda roasty aroma. Full bodied with some bitterness. Much better than regular Karlovačko. DrNosha (2719) - Württemberg, Germany, GERMANY - DEC 17, 2015
