(Bottle 50 cl) Warm chestnut colour with a marked reddish tint. Small, beige head. Sweetish aroma of caramel and roasted malt. Good, solid body with a distinct alcoholic approach. Light bitter finish. Hasn’t really got any Porter characteristics - more like a strong Dunkel, or a dark European Strong Lager. 300905 Travlr (24656) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - SEP 19, 2014

Wässriger, mild dunkelmalziger Beginn. Trocken werdend, dabei zunehmend röstig, das Ganze bleibt aber auf geringem Level. Moderat herb, süffig. Etwas monoton, insgesamt aber gut trinkbar. 10/7/8/7/8/7

Bottle from Konzum, Dubrovnik. It pours dark brown with a medium beige head. The nose is toast, cocoa, wood, roast and crackers. The taste is roasty, toast, wood, mild acidity, burnt notes, earth, dried fruit and dull astringency with a dry finish. Medium body and high, fairly harsh carbonation. Not great... Can’t say I would rush back for another. Borup (14460) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JUL 9, 2017
