Light golden color with a small but stable white lid. Decent lace. Pale malt aromas with a touch of noble hops. Aromas more in the lines of a helles lager than a pils. Flavor right in line with a helles lager as well, with pale malt, and lemon grass hops. A touch salty in the finish and a clean near crisp linger. A simple picnic brew. 500ml can: Pours a clear golden color with a slender white head. Excellent carbonation. The aroma is fairly grainy, a light malt, and fairly lightly hopped for a pilsener. A sweet maltiness penetrates into the flavor and the light floral hops just give a short nip on the finish. Not a bad drink, but I wouldn’t have taken it for a pils. muzzlehatch (4969) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 5, 2004
Can. You have no idea, those of you who live in places with massive beer distribution, how exciting it is for me to find a beer I've never heard of, much less seen, in an out-of-the-way liquor store in a small town. Even more of a thrill when I find that I'm only going to be the third rater of this. Whoa I'm special! Well at least until I pop the top on the can... Pours light golden, very clear, big frothy large-bubbling head. Light grainy aroma with a tinge of metal, not promising. Flavor isn't bad, certainly better than a lot of macros, but I don't get the "crispness" mentioned by zool ... seems very soft and decarbonated-soda-like to me. Some chewy breadiness appears later down the line, and the finish is smooth and quaffable. It's ok, and for $1.25 its conceivable I'd buy it again. If there wasn't anything else.
500ml can. Yellow orange with a small white head. Light flowery aroma with a bit of grain. Ends slightly bitter, and crisp. One of the best beers that I've ever had out of a can. harlequinn (2744) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - JUL 9, 2004
hmmm, yellow fizzy and grainy, with a mettalic aftertaste. Simple, but very light refreshing and easy to drink.

500 ml can. Clear golden in color with a large white head.Spicy, grassy, earthy hop a roma.Bitter, grainy malt flavor with a lingering hop charcater,Ends with a clean dry finish. Slick (1969) - Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA - FEB 27, 2005
Nice golden color, small white head that had a good hang time then faded slowly to leave a slight lace behind. The aroma was grainy and sorta sweet with a light hop presence in there to go along with the lemony hints. The flavor was not bad, grainy at first with just a bit of what seemed like maybe burnt caramel or something. Then towards the middle it sweetens up a bit and a mild hop showing towards the end.Not bad but then again not great eather, but it’s worth a try. steview (1088) - Petaluma, California, USA - DEC 13, 2005
can / somewhat light, refreshing; grassy, slightly cremey; not much flavor. something for the big party, etc., not much going on, but if you’re drunk already, then wooh! let the party really sink in. this liquid, bready dessert really bites! VENOM (941) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 23, 2002
Clear gold. Thick, white foam leaving a swath of lace. Sparse carbonation. Clean aroma of toasted white bread, hay and spicy hops. Crisp, bold and assertive. Immediate toasty malts with a hay background. Smooth, clean and sharp. Feisty hop bitterness but light on flavor. Light body. Quenching with a brisk aftertaste. Loses its malty oomph as it sits. Blandness creeps in as well. Surprisingly no metal taste, except for the occasional well water minerals. Finishes with a surge of floral hops which linger atop the dry, mown hay essence which is this brews hallmark. A very nice find. Kriegbaum (845) - Randers, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2011
