Hoppy upfront with a light, soft, juicy malt middle and a powerfully persistent finish, carminia pairs fabulously with salty fried dishes, caramelized grilled meats and surprise surprise...sweets with IPA’s, the two can make magic together...Incredible departure from the usual...IPA LordCorkscrew (1774) - Ronco Scrivia (GE), ITALY - OCT 29, 2010

Sample from bottle. Aroma is quite hoppy, the american way. Quite citrusy and grassy; some floral notes. Taste is a grapefruit peel like mix of bitter, citric and just enough sweetness to make the whole drinkable. Palate is on the light side. Very tame for an IPA, which might explain in part the poor ratings this beer has had so far, but I find this a Great example of balance, drinkability and correct usage of aroma hops. Pours murky medium brown amber, small head. Smells.. Tropical Fruit, slightly maybe peach, bit with chocalate and a mild coffee tone. Tastes.. A fruity , just slightly hoppy taste with chocalate and coffee tones. Delicious superspak (5894) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - OCT 17, 2016
11.15 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 5/2017. Pours hazy/cloudy dark orange/copper color with a 2 finger dense and rocky light khaki head with good retention that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice aromas with good complexity and balance of citrus/pine hops, moderate dark/bready malt, and fruity yeast notes; with good strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/grassy/citrus peel bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, apricot, lemon/orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted biscuit, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops, moderate dark/bready malt, and fruity yeast flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Light dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and moderately creamy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is a very nice English IPA. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/pine hops, moderate dark/bready malt, and fruity yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the balanced hop/malt flavors and bitterness. Fairly juicy feeling, and not too malty. A very enjoyable offering.

Bottle at So in Firenze. Very hoppy for an amber style beer, with yeast in the bottle, always a good sign. Good enough for me to want to try more from this brewery. Dedollewaitor (16359) - Odense, DENMARK - JAN 29, 2011
