Bottle. Hazy brown color with beige head. Aroma is caramel, apple, an idea of oxidization (probably due to the apple?), bready. Taste is green apple, a touch caramel, a bit oxidized, apple skin. High carbonation. Interesting!

Colore ambrato scarico con pochissima schiuma bianca, i sentori sono di mela e uva passita. In bocca è molto leggera e poco persistente. Il retrogusto è leggermente acidulo.

Bottle, from Gastronomia Fiorelli, Cartoceto, bb 02.2012
Cloudy amber color; small head. Mediocre aroma, some yeast, earth and dust. Good body strength and smooth mouthfeel; but the flavor is off, nothing special, medium malt, with rare fruity traces, soil, light yeast; correct bitterness.
I just wish somebody would brew a good straight beer and stop throwing random things in.

PatBateman81 (178) - Caserta, ITALY - AUG 31, 2010
Bottle 750 ml. bought @ Birrificio Karma. Rich aroma of apples, sugar, caramel, spice, grapes and vine. Color is cloudy-amber, with a very small foam that last just a little. Taste is like a common belgian strong ale; you can recognize the sweetness of "annurca" apple jam and Pallagrello must (a local wine), the two addictions in the recipe, but malt component is untied enough. Orange peel and citric note grows later, and - regrettably - alcohol too. Not bad, but poorly balanced.
