craftbeersweden (700) - SWEDEN - MAY 9, 2016
ABV: 5.5% Best before: August 21, 2013.

The beer pours red-brown and hazy in my tulip glass. A small one finger high, beige head.

Nose: Caramel, dried fruit, plum, raisin, dark bread, nuts and cookies.
Taste: Caramel malt, dried fruit, nuts, herbs and fudge.
Mouth: Light to medium body. Light carbonation (well it is best before 2013...) Short taste. Sweet and dry ending.

Easy drinkable with a sweet, nutty taste but not that special or great...

Beerhunter111 (22507) - P´Castle, GERMANY - MAY 8, 2016

Autch... don’t know what happened, but something went wrong with this beer or my bottle. Normally, beers from Karmeliter are of outstanding brewing quality, but this one shows a strange acidity that shouldn’t be there and that irritates me. A shame

mmahut (1858) - CZECH REPUBLIC - JAN 11, 2015
Bottle. Hazy dark red amber body with pretty high creamy head. Aroma has industrial malty character, toffee. Taste has medium grainy sweetness with medium to low earthy bitterness, light caramel in the after taste. Body is medium with high carbonation.

ruigo (3080) - PORTUGAL - DEC 17, 2014
33cl bottle. Clear amber colour and small off-white head. Toffee, honey, caramel, berries and grassy notes in the aroma. Average carbonation and medium body. Taste is more on the sweet side but not so balanced. Overall, drinkable but not remarkable.

lusikka (7833) - Tampere, FINLAND - NOV 7, 2014
330 ml bottle. Pours a amber copper colour with a small head. Aroma of sweet caramel, some grains and berries. Flavour of sweet caramel, berries, mild bitterness, cardboard and bread. Light bodied and high-ish carbonation. Overly sweet and far from your regular dunkel. Barely decent.

peponi (2011) - Strzelce Wielkie, POLAND - OCT 7, 2014
Aroma: dried fruits, honey, dark malts. Appearance: clear amber color, poor white head. Taste: medium bitterness (herbs and alcohol), honey, dark malts, dried fruits, roasted caramel. Palate: medium body and medium carbonation, bitter finish with a pinch of honey. Overall: Quite nice stuff, even more similar to dry honey beer.

edpeg (906) - Berlin, GERMANY - AUG 29, 2014
Nice amber colored body , clear. White head, dense. Aroma are malts, toffee, little grassy notes. Palate is medium thick, soft and smoothly carbonation. Taste is malty, slight cardboard, before forming into a floral light hops flavors. It has a mild Märzen like taste with subtle fruity hops note. Easy to drink, could be more edgy still still smooth and balanced
