BlackHaddock (7585) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - JAN 29, 2016
500ml in my hotel room (Berlin) late on 22nd Jan 2016. Poured a clear dark brown with an off-white crown. Aroma was of malts, caramel and toffee on toast. Flavour wise it is malty molasses sweet, yet there is a mild calming depth from an undercurrent of hop bitterness. Nice.

Bottle @ home. Clear autumnal dark red-brown color with a small off-white to beige head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma is malts, caramel, brown malts. Taste malts, brown malts, a hint of leaves, a bit sweet and some malt bitter at the same time.

harrisoni (19189) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2013
500ml bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais. Clear dark brown colour thick beige head. Just waiting for my Sunday lunch lamb to cook. This is a pleasant enough malty beer. Nothing exceptional but ticks all the boxes. Tasty.

prawlie (1649) - Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 25, 2014
500 mL bottle at Schneider Brauhaus in Munich. Dark red-brown with a large foamy head. Light, subtle maltiness. Very subtle dark malt aroma. Smooth, but a little lacking in oomph. Easy to drink though.

RexTalionis (3782) - FINLAND - FEB 20, 2015
Draught. Clear mahogny in color, off-white head. Grainy and bit of hard toffee sweetness in aroma. Nuttyness and some dark bready sweetness in taste, some bitters too there, which are keeping drinkable and not too cloying.

Mariusz (12095) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - DEC 26, 2016

pivnizub (10769) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUL 7, 2011
Draught: Clear, chestnut-amber coloured, smaller lacy off-white head; not very sweet caramelly-toasty nose; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; slightly lingering sweetish-toasty finish. Good.....
