COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly known as Donau Pils.

When it’s called a Pils, it sould be a Pils! Sounds logic and you might think why is he stating this? Well, because a lot of German Pilseners, especially the big mass produced ones have moved very far from the traditional Pilsener character. Especially when it comes to the bitterness. A lot of those beers show IBU figures around 20... far too low for a classic Pilsener. Not this one! The aroma is a nice balance between crisp, grassy hops and toasted bread, not over pronounced but clearly present. The same applies to the taste where the lean and elegant body turns into a nice dry finish. IPA addicted will tell you that there are no hops, but this is what a Pilsener should offer. A light, fluffy hop bitterness in a easy drinkable beer.

Clean crisp German Pils. Nothing fancy and true to the style. Nice and drinkable.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is floral, grassy, some slight salty notes along with mild grain. Flavour is grassy and herbal along with some grains and mild bready and biscuity malts to it. Fresh, but nothing that special. Good thirstquencher though.
