Enjoyed: Poured from a bottle into mug. Appearance: Dark, reddish-brown colour, with nice medium creamy head. Aroma: Roasted malt, grains, caramel. Palate: Medium body, medium to high carbonation. Taste: Dark chocolate, gentle coffee, hint of caramel; Gentle sweetness and light bitter aftertaste. Overall impression: Pleasant, drinkable.

Bottle, 0.5l. Pours clear, dark amber body with small beige head. Nose very similar to Velebitsko Tamno, caramel and honey, quite herbal. Some cardboard off-notes. Medium body with average to high carbonation. Slick texture. Slightly charred bittersweet taste. Aroma strikes me as watered down Velebitsko Tamno - pretty much the same thing, but subdued and with lower ABV. A bit more grainy character. Caramel malts, herbs, slight honey. Metallic acidity in the aftertaste. Regular finish, slightly bitter. Overall, drinkable. Not bad, but could be better.

Nothing special about aroma, long lasting head and great briht brown colour. Drinkable taste, reminds me of guiness, but less bitter. Great beer

Bottle. Amber with a poor head. Toasted malt, floral notes, some hops and pleasant toffee notes in the aroma. Low and velvety carbonation, watery-dry taste, finishing with a moderately strong, tea-like bitterness. Nice.

Brun öl med ett lättare smutsvitt skum. Doft av mörkt bröd, malt och karamell. I smaken tillkommer en lätt kryddighet och en lätt nötig beska.

hrabren (1175) - Zagreb, CROATIA - JAN 27, 2016
Had this many times, rating only now. Clear reddish dark brown, small off white head. Caramel and raisins in the nose. Taste is caramel, dry fruits, brown sugar. Sweet, medium body, medium carbonation. Sugary finish. Better than Dark Velebit.

50 cl bottle from a random corner store in Zagreb, served in a tulip. Dark brown, clear, with medium tan head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is predominantly skunky, with roasted malts, caramel, and hoppy grassy undertones. Body is medium, carbonation is soft. Taste is low to medium sweet, low to medium bitter, with medium long finish, texture is watery to oily.
