Another of the treasures of the north I found on my recent Alaska trip. Dark copper with a foamy light beige head. Mildly sweet cereal malts, mineral salts (a bit too salty IMO to really enjoy), some bitterness at the end. A bit thin.

DWestrick (858) - Ft Wayne, Indiana, USA - SEP 23, 2017
Bottle. Father brought back from trip to Alaska. Very smooth IPA - beautiful Carmel color - plenty hops. Very lovely beer

bytemesis (9510) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 1, 2017
Tap. Pours Clear deep orange, small creamy off white head, good lacing. Aroma of malty bread, caramel, toasty, pine, floral. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, Noble hops. Medium body. English style, but low bitterness.

drsordr (2927) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - JUN 8, 2017
Bottle poured Riverside in Fairbanks AK, copper with moderate ecru head. Nose light dank, apple, light earthy. Taste light bitter up front, caramel, earthy, and light grainy malt late.

dnstone (3707) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - MAY 23, 2017
Pours copper with an outstanding off white head (really one of the better heads I’ve seen in years). A moderately malty, moderately to lightly hop early American IPA. Notes: on tap at Pangea during our May ’17 Anchorage visit.

haddon90 (1634) - Newport Beach, California, USA - NOV 9, 2016
Bottle from La Bodega in Anchorage. Pours a dark copper color with a thin, off white head. Thick, hoppy aroma with a sweetness in the background. Good hop taste with a sweet malt finish. Decent IPA.

furthur (1255) - Eagle River, Alaska, USA - OCT 29, 2016
Draft at fest, medium amber, little head. Aroma is juicy citrus. Taste is orange, mango, grapefruit. Palate is light, carb moderate.

bhensonb (15974) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 10, 2016
Tap at Sea Galley in Anchorage. Pours quite dark, almost brown, with a beige head. Aroma is malty. Med body. Flavor is more malt than hop. Quite unusual.

CObiased (562) - Bayfield, Colorado, USA - JUL 23, 2016
Bomber - it pours an iced tea color - a clear golden brown with a med off white head. The aroma is very bready - sweet, malty and notes of grain. English IPA style - malty, simple one dimensional hop and med body.

BVery (11461) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUL 15, 2016
Bomber from a store in Skagway. Brassy orange pour with a small soapy head. English style malts, not really my deal.

Iphonephan (7484) - Jackson Hole/McLean, Virginia, USA - JUN 4, 2016
On draft at the Wildflower in Talkeetna. Pours a clear gold with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of grapefruit and pine resin. Bitter finish.
