Grumbler purchase from the Breeze in, Juneau AK.
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a soft hazy amber color with a decent transparency about it allowing some light carbonation to be seen rising. There was a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. The lacing was somewhat sticky but ended up sliding just a bit.
The smell had a sweet sticky citrus hoppiness and then a bitter sticky hoppiness. A light pale crisp maltiness came into play after a little bit of warming.
The taste was bittersweet citrus hops and crisp caramel malts.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was good for the style and for me as it was just enough harshness but managed to stay somewhat subdued. It’s crisp but settles slightly sticky over my tongue.
Overall, good APA glad I was able to finally partake in an offering of Kassik’s that isn’t bottled. AmEricanbrew (6954) - Same Trailer, Different Park, Louisiana, USA - AUG 24, 2009

Clear light amber color with a white head. Mild floral, piney hop aromas. Medium body. Good floral and pine hoppy flavors on a sweet pale malt base. Well balanced, full flavored Pale here. [email protected]
On tap @ The Peanut Farm. Clear yellow/gold with a small white head. Aroma is light on the hops for a Pale but they are there more piney with a bit of citrus, also a faint cereal aroma. Taste is sweet with a mild bitterness. Crisp and refreshing, light bodied with active carbonation. Good beer but more along the lines of a Golden/Blond, just not a lot of flavor or hop character but very drinkable. DarkElf (3066) - La Jolla, California, USA - AUG 6, 2008
22-Jan-08 (Draft: Kassik’s Kenai Brew Stop in Nikiski, AK) Sweet, honey-like malts and very light hop aromas lead into a pleasant, honey-sweet grainy malt flavor with lightly bitter hops for balance. Medium-bodied with a clean, pleasantly crisp mouthfeel. Pale golden color and slightly hazy in appearance. The whitish head pours to a quarter-inch, then settles to a wide ring. It may be an easy drinker, but it’s also pretty enjoyable. shp555 (2024) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 10, 2007
Pours a hazy copper color with a white head. Aroma is malty with citrus hops. Flavor is malty with a nice bitter citrus finish.
