The ideal refreshment because of his lower alcohol content and his fruity taste and flavour. Thx! 33 cl. bottle sampled @ Bierkaffee t Middelpunt in Zolder. Hazy golden with a white head. Nose is sweet fruity but like apple juice, applesauce, Turkish candy, syrup, white sugar, syrup, very sweet. Taste doesnt add entirely up either, apple juice & commercial applesauce, some chemicals, huge white sugar, syrup, overly sweet BE yeast, Body too much yeast, oddly oily. This one of those dull BE blonds that veers too much into unpleasant flavours probably in an attempt to cut corners & please everyone. It is manageable still & drinkable for certain.

Bottle at home, 330 ml. Poured into a tulip glass. ABV 5.5% Nice golden orange colour, clear body with good activity in it, and a huge white head on top. Good retention, thick lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet malts, yeast. Also a very refreshing aroma of floral hops, quite nice! Taste doesnt follow up but it is still pretty good. Light fruity, yeast, sugar, a bit spicy on the finish. Medium thin body with high carbonation. Very dry on the palate. Overall a nice beer, a shame that the taste is not on the high standards of the aroma.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 29/10/2015. Dore, col blanc lger.

33cl bottle at home. APPEARANCE: clear blond beer, white stable head. NOSE: hops, grains, little citrus. TASTE: hops, very easy drinking, probably tasted a lot better because it was 30C outside! Very pleasant

5/II/2012 33cl bottle late 80s vintage @ vintage tasting Brugs Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2012-1224) Thanks to JimRittchart for the sample!

Note: from lost notes earlier this year, found again!
Clear dark orange beer, pretty big aery big bubbled off-white to beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: dry, cardboard, dusty, maybe a little spicy, definitely off. Taste: about the same as the smell. The beer has died over this time. If I ever come across a fresh one, Ill rerate it.
