Очень хороший квад. Как я люблю: меньше карамели - больше чернослива. Плюс, конечно, шоколад. Eastwood (509) - Oviedo, SPAIN - OCT 21, 2017
Tomada en Cervecera Kraken de botella de botella.
Cacao y cafe en una cerveza de Kasteel es garantia de maravilla.
Me encanta. Cokemonkey11 (1123) - - OCT 16, 2017
Bottle in Budapest. Gorgeous dark brown cream with a foam like a rootbeer float. Subsiding slow. Scent is quite loud cocoa. Ethanol a bit and whiskey cask. Smooth, creamy finish. Crisp and a bit of apple notes. A bit of cloves. Very great. jinroh (2462) - ESTONIA - OCT 16, 2017
Tap @ Delirium Cafe, Akasaka. Pours dark brown with some beige foam on top. Aroma has lots of caramel, toffee, light coffee and a touch of extra sweetness. Taste reveals relatively sweet body - but drinks light, also light tartness, coffee bitterness is very obvious, chocolate, toffee and caramel characteristics blending with light booze. Pleasant sipper, great balance - drinks way easier than it should.

At The Monk, Bruges, as Barista Chocolate Quad. Pours hazy dark brown with a small, frothy, beige head. The aroma contains dark chocolate, coffee (powder), hops, roasted malt, (burnt) caramel, some dark fruits. It tastes medium chocolatey sweet and light to medium hoppy bitter, retronasal effect of coffee powder, slightly dry herbal finish. Medium to full body, slick texture (less thick than expected), soft carbonation. This is a difficult one. The aroma is succesful but the taste has a somewhat too 'powdery' effect for me. Benefit of the doubt.

Thin beige head soon left a collar on a still, near black body.
Huge coffee aroma with malt & brown sugar.
Medium to full body. Thick, creamy, no carbonation. Oily & cloying.
Coffee, coffee, coffee, and dark chocolate - that's about it! Very malty with demerara, dark fruit & dark spirits & absolutely no alcohol presence beastiefan2k (4180) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - OCT 6, 2017
Draft sampler at Yard House. The worst part of this beer is the artifical tasting chocolate syrup. Chalky and mineral. Can't get past that. Also a bit flabby for a quad. artyom (1229) - Osijek, CROATIA - OCT 5, 2017
0.33l bottle. Dark brown color with tanned head. Very rich aroma with fruits, malt, toffee, chocolate, caramel, dark fruits, cloves, spices and raisins. Taste is very complex as well, with fruity, caramel, spicy, chocolate, plum and clove notes. Medium sweetness and full. Overall it's excellent beer. VictorX (13) - Bucharest, ROMANIA - OCT 1, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 10, 2017 Bottle at home, as Kasteel Barista Chocolate Quad. Appearance - dark, with a reddish hue; small, creamish head. Aroma - mocha, chocolate and hints of vanilla. Palate - medium body, low carbonation, no bitterness, but rather sweet with some alcoholic bite. Taste - chocolate, more dark than milky, mocha, vanilla, parma violets, brown sugar and some raisin notes at the very end. Aftertaste - rather long, sweet, but not overwhelming, with more of the mocha notes. Overall - A great, quite sweet, but tasty beer. One of my favorite Belgian winter ales. Kupljeno pod nazivom "Barista Chocolate Quad". Veoma tamna amber boja (više smeđa), zuta pjena srednje debljine. Aroma čokolade, kakaoa, kafe, vinjaka/konjaka i likera sa kafom i orasima. Srednje gorčine, sa izraženim osjećajem alkohola, onih 11% se baš osjeti!. Fenomenalno pivo!
