Bright crystal clear golden color with small foamy white head. Aroma is floral, fruity and bubblegum. Taste is also fruity and floral. Also belgian yeast, rich belgian malt, hint of banana and clove. Sweet but not cloying. Packs a punch with 11%. One of the better tripels Ive had. Very nice.

Bottle. Pale yellowy gold in colour. Spicy (peppery; cloves & coriander). Fruity (citrus, banana, peach). Yeasty in the taste (but no floaties). Malty base. Sweet fruity leading to a dry finish. Warming alcohol very evident. (2008)

Luneylane (102) - Taipei City, TAIWAN - FEB 8, 2017
A bottle at the Cafe Bastille, near Tai Power Building. Aroma: rather sour, vinous fruits, sherry. Appearance: clear, gold, minimal lacing. Palate: full-bodied and oily, soft carbonation, long, complex and very boozy finish. Taste: booze, clearly a heavyweight. Very astringent, perhaps too much so - I am no fan of candy flavour, but half way through the glass I found myself wanting just a little more sweetness.

Carbo importante. Arme de fruits secs : abricots, raisins, dattes. Pointe alcool (normal vu ses 11degres). Ronde sans plus pour son taux dalcool. Final trs malte et alcoolise. Lalcool napporte rien. Il lui manque quelque chose. Moyenne.

0,33l bottle. Cloudy golden colour with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma: Floral, honey with leather notes and biscuit caracter. Taste: Sweet start with a lots of almond caracter. Has a light bitter mouthfeel. Its tasty but a bit easy for the style. The alcohol isnt in the taste but you can definitely feel the 11%. Medium/full body with fizzy carbonation. Medium lasting light bitter finish. Not the best and definitely not the most complex tripel.

Bouteille 33cl, V&B Grenoble.
