It has a light amber color with a white head. The smell has some fruitiness in it but it is mainly a smoky spice aroma. It reminds me of beef jerky. At the first sip, I noticed the same spice. It also has some citrus and malt flavor. The alcohol is strong, but not to harsh on the mouth. It is pretty good stuff. Not the best Abbey Tripel, but far from the worst.

0,33l bottle. Cloudy golden colour with quickly disappearing white head. Aroma: Floral, honey with leather notes and biscuit caracter. Taste: Sweet start with a lots of almond caracter. Has a light bitter mouthfeel. Its tasty but a bit easy for the style. The alcohol isnt in the taste but you can definitely feel the 11%. Medium/full body with fizzy carbonation. Medium lasting light bitter finish. Not the best and definitely not the most complex tripel.

Bouteille 33cl, V&B Grenoble.

Bottle from Nisa, Hebden Bridge. Amber with a small head. Has a heavy sugary nose, with a lighter sugary-sweetness in its taste. Its not as strong tasting as you might expect, so theres some pale malts to be found too.

Bottle - clear light orange, full frothy head, high carbonation. Strong fruity aroma. Ting on tongue and in mouth - too much. Better aroma than taste.
