On tap @ the brewpub in Port Allen, Kauai, Hawaii. Cloudy gold, a little dirty looking, leaves a mess of lace around the glass. Intense fresh pineapple, passionfruit, so fresh & juicy! Lightly vegetal toward the end. Pale malts, medium sweetness. Long bitter finish. My favourite from this little brewery, and a really great IPA by any standard. bnoel09 (588) - Elk Grove, California, USA - AUG 5, 2013
Dark amber / orange color with white head. Aroma is quite hoppy with floral and resinous notes. Flavor has some caramel malt with a lot of hoppy character - floral, grassy, resinous. Medium bodied with a dry finish. Very nice IPA. adamah (214) - California, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Piney, earthy and citrusy. Pours dark orange. Tastes slightly sweet but very bitter on the back end. DruncanVeasey (8603) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - SEP 14, 2012
Tap at the brewpub and from growler back at the house, 20/08/12. Lacy, tufted copper-gold diaphanous with haze. Huge mushy papaya, passion fruit aroma; pungent, hairy, perfumed leafy hop. Pineapple and grapefruit on the palate; dried pepper, stewed Earl Grey teapot dregs, slight burn, bitter husky afters uncluttered by malt. A bit Jaipur. Solid, wafting, tropical-accented IPA.
