Half-liter bottle, $2 clearance @ Binny’s. Pours pilsener colored, slightly hazy. Kicks up some bubbles in my shaker glass, but no foam. Smell has some malts, but some fusels, too. Taste is pretty much barley soda with alcohol added. I can drink it, but there’s no character at all. Even having "Morgen" by Ivo Rovic come upon iTunes right now doesn’t help this.

An interesting type of the German Octoberfest style. Malty and slightly sweet but still an Octoberfest bier. A lighter version then most German Octoberfest Biers. Nice and refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden with a white head. Aroma is grainy along with some corn notes. Nice malty flavor with appropriately low hop bitterness. Short malty finish. Overall not a notable fest bier.

chinchill (5023) - South Carolina, USA - MAR 29, 2017
500 ml brown bottle served in a Creature Comforts glass. Pours with a slightly hazy, golden body, with moderate visible carbonation rising to a modest size, semi-durable white head. Aroma: standard German pils. Flavor: well balanced with a lingering array of hop-based flavors. Feel: medium-light body with medium carbonation.

Bottle at Hennessey’s, Birmingham. Poured into branded glass. Bready, sweet, sweaty lager. Gulped down pronto, but a bit sickly. OK only.

Bottle at home grabbed at my local grocer must be new offering for these parts. More golden in color than I expected. Nose is herbal and floral. Tastes herbal, bready, some cantaloupe, florals and honey. Light bodied but touch watery. Sweetish finnish

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Bready malts, some straw, a touch of sweetness, and low bitterness. Fine.

Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - SEP 6, 2016
Pours a hazy gold color with a light grassy aroma. Taste is grainy, with hay and malt. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

wombat23 (1419) - Texas, USA - JUL 22, 2016
Bottle. Hazy pale gold with a white head. Aroma of mild malt, floral notes, and grass. Taste follows nose. Very mild overall. Goes down smoothly.

tnkw01 (1753) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 27, 2016
Bottle. More like a traditional German Marzen beer. Gold in color with a medium head. Aroma is roasted grains with some hay and straw. Taste is well balanced with a lean more to the malty side.

Pours a clear light gold color with a short lived fizzy white head. The aroma was a light almost non existing sent of generic malt. The flavor was just awful with a water down carbonated soda water flavor. The body was thin with a pure funk aftertaste. Overall one of the worst beers I’ve had in a while.
