33 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep golden amber to brown with a lacing off-white head. Dense malty to mild roasted, breadish note. Flavour is dry breadish and mild spiced. Smooth and mild roasted finish with a light breadish touch. Nice one. Ungstrup (38413) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 15, 2009
Bottled. A dark brown beer with a thin brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, bread, caramel, and a bit of alcohol. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of caramel as well as medium notes of sweet malt and bread. The alcohol is felt on the palate, and the finish is dry. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2008

Metallic caramel first, later husky grains, even later milky. Slightly watery body, caramel, tastes like it’s strong. Finish a bit papery. A little bit of wallpaper paste. Deep down I like the caramel, but it’s not a good bock.
UPDATED: NOV 21, 2010 A: The pour is a murky dark amber color with plenty of caramel color going on. The head is almost non-existent, a small group of tan bubbles form on top.
S: There’s an incredibly rich sweetness to the nose. Lots of caramel, brown sugar, and maple syrup. Also some hints of chocolate and vanilla, adding to the sweetness. Notes of dark fruits such as cherries, raisins, and plums.
T: The flavor is not quite as sweet as you would expect from the aroma. It’s also sort of watery. There’s a bit more detectable roast and toast than offered up in the nose. Still, mostly caramel, brown sugar, and hints of chocolate.
M: The body is also mildly watery with a pretty low level of carbonation, which doesn’t seem appropriate.
D: Too much water flavor and the mouthfeel was a real let down. Not sure what’s going on with this beer. bhensonb (15758) - Woodland, California, USA - NOV 26, 2007
Bottle. Sweet fruity caramel nose. Dark brown color with ruby hilites, with a beige head. Medium bodied with creamy carbonation. Lots of flavor. Caramel, bread, pitted fruits, like cherry. Finish is dark, light sweet with fruit notes. Not particularly bitter at all. The fruitiness makes it very pleasant to drink. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAR 31, 2011
