Chcolate, roasted malt. Finish a bit watery
A bit too sweet for my taste, least convincing of the 3 beers I had from this brewery.

Aside from being slighlty lower in alcohol than the style calls for, this drinks very much like a doppelbock. Its sweet and very malty nose is loaded with chocolate, dark toast, and raisins. Deeply malty and very sweet on the palate, the beer offers a lot of chocolate, plus cocoa, prune, earth, brown sugar, dark toast, and lightly bitter roast. Full-bodied, almost syrupy on the palate, and fairly cloying after awhile. Carbonation is light-medium. Rich, medium-brown and ruddy tinted through the center with a golden edge and perfect clarity. The tan head pours rather small, barely peaking at a quarter-inch, before settling to a thin ring. Very yummy, but a bit too sweet, and it seems that this is a doppelbock with a lower attentuation level, hence the excessive sweetness and lower ABV.
Süßlicher, dunkel malziger Antrunk. Noten von Bitterschokolade, geringfügig bitter, rund. Würzig malziger Nachhall, weich. Gelungen. 9/9/10/10/10/10

Metallic caramel first, later husky grains, even later milky. Slightly watery body, caramel, tastes like it’s strong. Finish a bit papery. A little bit of wallpaper paste. Deep down I like the caramel, but it’s not a good bock.
330ml bottle. Clear copper color. No head. Caramel, sweet, minerals, candy in aroma. Caramel, malty, mild alcohol, fake hops, grainy notes in taste. Feels watery. zenkis (1079) - Ogre, LATVIA - AUG 5, 2013
Pours dark, deep copper reddish, clear, beige medium, fast cap, no lasing. On nose toasted malt with deep touch of caramel sweetness. Taste - sweet with bitter notes of darker malt, a minimal sour @ the end. Lively carbanated, medium+ bodied, thick-slick texture, long toasted bitter finish. Aftertaste - floury bitter. Tasty malt oriented German dark brew, I still like those too. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Bottle share by Bob, pours a muddy brown/tea color with a very thin rim of head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, malt, and some dark fruit. Taste is some dark fruit and light caramel, finishes with some sweet malt and light bitter.
