Can, 500 ml
Appearance: Pours nice, regular, shiny golden body without sediment and very clear in texture, carbonation is visually weak, saturation is moderate, head is snowy white, foamy, initially big, slowly gecreasing to small crown with nice lacing around the glass surface.
Aroma: Very characteristic chalkyness, reminding me some Pilseners but not so focussed and definitelly not bitter, gentle maltyness at front, somewhere deeper there is gentle malty base, slightly hoppy and slightly rusty balanced with malted barley sweetness.
Flavour: Front is kind of neutral, slightly dull, not pronounced in any way, wattery, impression of cotton in your mouth, neither salty nor sweet, nor bitter, nor tangy, nor astringent, nor chalky. Finish duration is short.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery, carbonation on palate is soft, finish feel is nasty, very dull, boring lager, market beer.
It’s just another lager made by Van Pur, this time produced for Kaufland markets Light, watery; little taste, only slight bitterness. Not repulsive though, could do on Lithuanian-Polish border at midnight with nothing more interesting to drink.
