3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Now "Nepasterizuotas" [Unpasteurized] instead of "Gyvas".
Surprisingly complex, layered beer with distinct notes of banana and toffee as well as (and much less of) the usual sugary caramel one would expect from a regional dark.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Medium beige head. Clear brown body. Earthy chocolatey cocos
aroma with fruity notes. Dry-acidic earthy chocolatey taste with
bitter roasty finish. Mid-bodied. Infected, and so
spoiled. (0.5l bottle, forget where from. BBD 2012-11-09, so
partly my own fault. Still, it shouldn’t have turned to vinegar
already. Will rerate if possible.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle (Kauno Brewery, Kaunas)
Dark reddy brown, large tight beige head. Sweet fruity berry aroma, gently roasty, a little bit of toffee and coffee. Taste follows that closely, a well-balanced roast, sweetish, but not sticky. Smooth palate, decent carbonation. Finish gently burnt and bitter. Well rounded dunkel, very tasty.
