(bottle) Clear, chestnut-brown colour with a big and beige foamy head. Sweet and slightly toasted malty aroma with a slightly doughy and nutty touch, accompanied by a whiff of caramel and hops. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly toasted malt character, slightly bready and crusty taste with a touch of herbal hops; dry-ish, moderately bitter and toasty finish with a tinge of metal. Nice but not more (20.06.09).

Bottle shared with MichaelBruch. Deep amber-golden in colour with steady head. Taste of caramel, malt, nuts, hops and brown bread. Quite bubbling and refreshing, not as dull as other Dunkels.

NosirIwont (2530) - Frederikssund, DENMARK - AUG 10, 2012
Draft @ 16. Internationales Berliner Bierfestival. Pours a clear amber-brown with a small off-white head. Sweetish malty-hoppy aroma with a metallic overtone. Flavour is sweetish, fruity and malty with a bit of hops. Metallic and cereal note as it warms. Malty finish, almost grainy, but not quite. Dry lingering grassy note. Overall okay, though a little on the sweet side. 03.08.12.
