WhatDaddy (96) - Volos, GREECE - DEC 18, 2016
0,33lt bottle @ Valentin - Curious Bierkneipe, Volos Greece Opens with a big "PLOOP" (swing-top bottle). Pours clear golden. White head, aroma of malty sweetness maybe a hint of nuts. Taste is like a stronger, medium bodied Lager with sweetness and a bit hops. Actuallly, plain and simple, very drinkable and enjoyable. Nothing fancy but nice!

Gut !

McTapps (6950) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - APR 19, 2013
Deep golden colour with low had and smooth body. Nose of malt. Taste is the one of just any other Heller Bock (strong alcohol, rich light malt, ripe grains, warm grass, oranges, cloves) but it is just that touch deeper and with more character than the others. Even quite refreshing and light, what is quite unusual for that style of beer. Nice one.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!

Trinkbar. 6/8/9/7/6/8

Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a finger-thick off-white head. Rather fruity aroma, with the alcohol evident but not bad. Slightly peppery too, and grainy. It’s well carbonated, full-bodied and a bit dead on the palate. Fruityness, peppery notes, some alcohol hints and pale malts. Short finish. Hmm, not really sure what I think of this one. Even though it’s quite tasteful it’s still not my choice of beer in any way. 110421
