YantarCoast (1624) - Moscow, RUSSIA - OCT 21, 2017
500ml bottle. No indication of ABV, although the brewer’s site says 4.8%. Gravity is 12%. Everything on the label is in Georgian except the word Kazbegi. Pours very slightly hazy gold with a large white head. Aroma is hay, butterscotch, malt. Taste is sweet and malty, wheat, grain. Not bad.

Piepenhenrich (1289) - Steinbach, GERMANY - SEP 3, 2017
From a bottle in St. Petersburg. Got excited about finding a Georgian beer there, taste was rather average.

TBone (18561) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 19, 2017
Bottled 500ml (from shop in Kutaisi). Honeyish golden colour, small white head. Aroma is grainy and honeyish with green apple. Light-bodied. Sweetish flavour has green apple and paper. Unclean.

sharkydodson (1928) - St. Petersburg, RUSSIA - OCT 22, 2014
the aroma of malt, grass and kvass with shades of candy and fruits... the taste is malty and herbal with slight hoppy bitterness... sweet and, a little bit, bitter aftertaste...

Bierkrug (2129) - - MAR 3, 2013
500 ml bottle in Iraq. Pours a clear yellow color with a fine fast to go white head. Aroma is skunk, skunk, skunk and fruit. The taste was not as bad as it smelled. Strange but refreshing. Palate was not too ofensive. Very strange stuff.

2.2
Countbeer (6589) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - FEB 19, 2013
Bottle @ Kiss The Kitchen Floor or better known as ZZT VI (2013): kindly shared by Benzai: small and thin white lacing on top of a clear yellow colored beer. The aroma is very one dimensional: very creamy and some butter. Not much else. The flavours are not better than the aroma, actually the aroma is a tad better. There’s sweat that sets the tone, some malts and again that butter tone, though very light it’s present. The aftertaste is malty with herbs and a light hint of sweat. Low to medium carbo, soft light sparkling mouthfeel, light and pretty low body and a light creamy texture. Fun to tick but nothing interesting and there’s more shit to come...

2.3
Martinus (4741) - Baarle-Nassau, NETHERLANDS - FEB 18, 2013
Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, light hops, butter. Sweet malty flavour, dito finish.
Not too bad. Is it a ’traditional ale’? Thought it to be quite like a pale lager.
(From 33cL bottle @ ZZT VI, Oirschot. Courtesy of Benzai. Thanks for the country tick, Rene!)

2.3
dEnk (4200) - Den Haag, NETHERLANDS - FEB 16, 2013
Bottle @ zzt. Aroma is murky dusty cardboard, some herbal hops. Flavour is hay, some malt and some spice. Expected worse.

Benzai (16928) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - FEB 16, 2013
Sampled from bottle @ ZZT VI. Clear golden color, medium sized quite decently lasting white head. Aroma ain’t good: malts, lightly musty, grainy, old. Taste malts, grains, lightly sweet-bitter. Low to medium body.

2.6
DutchDrebus (6328) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - FEB 16, 2013
Bottle @ ZZT VI shared by Benzai. Clear golden yellow colour with a small white head. Smells ’boterkoek’, buttery, slightly cardboard, malts, sweet. Tastes sweet, malty. Has the softness of a Czech pils, but it doesn’t taste as nice. Thin to medium body, soft carbo.
