Clear deep gold colour wuth thin white head. Very mild malt nose. Tart and sweet full body malt taste with light malt finish.
Deep gold, large beige head.Light sweet malt nose. Palate is more of the same, decent but perhaps a bit too light Bov (12888) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 23, 2006
slightly hazy golde-blond colour with a little foam; gentle aromatic flowery hoppiness; slightly oily and medium-bodied, moderate dry bitterness and a short flowery finish - decently tasty but easy presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - JUN 11, 2006
Picked this up in Salmon Arm assuming Kamloops was the old Bear Brewing once owned by Big Rock which is correct. Gold colour. Light fizzy head upheld by steady carbonation. While aroma is light it does not smell of the usual adjuncts. Malty. Good body. If you want a basic lager this one is well made. Good at a warmer temperature. Good flavour follow through. Darker gold colour with a nice medium sized head. Aroma was malty and bready. Slightly more malt character than regular lagers make this a tad better than some. A slight creaminess leads to a slightly drier finish. Well constructed.

Bottle: Poured a medium gold with a decent white foamy head. Good lacing.
Aroma was light malt and caramel.
Flavour was sweet and malty with a good full mouthfeel, hint of vanilla perhaps.
A very enjoyable domestic lager. I’ll buy it again. Oakes (17815) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 9, 2006
Bright golden colour. Light pale malt accent in the aroma. Malt-accented, clean with slight tartness (apple?). Full body for the style. Malty finish. One of the province’s better premium lagers.
