Growler from Brouwerij Lane. Black color with a lacy tan head. Aroma is nice, chocolate, Tootsie Roll, hops. Flavor is medium sweet, quite chocolatey, a little more bitterness on the finish than would be ideal. Full body and average carbonation. Meh for the style.

Draught @ Malt and Mold. Inky black with smallish foamy beige head, faint roasted malt aroma, medium carbonation, bitter burnt malt taste with alcohol undertones, somewhat thick body, long bitter burnt malt finish. The roasting seems to have run out of control, there’s a pervasive burnt taste. mansquito (6984) - Nueva York, New York, USA - FEB 5, 2017
