COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A clean and crisp lager with notes of honey and biscuit. The grain bill adds a beautiful gold hue and full flavor. The Gold Lager proves pilsner style lagers can be full flavored.

from Bier-Bienne - clear dark golden beer with a little persistent white foam; flowery and grainy nose; light honeyish, quite sweet, smooth palate, medium-bodied, some shy bitterness and a long flowery and honeyish finish

Bottle. Poured a clear golden color with a diminishing fizzy white head with little lacing. Light to moderate sweet grain malt aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of short duration. Worth having once.

12 oz bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a clear golden color with a small off white head that disappeared quickly. The aroma and flavor have big sweet character especially on the nose, grainy malt, biscuits, not something I would revisit.

From a bottle into a Rodenbach Grand Cru glass. Pours gold with small head and lace. Aroma of grains, cereal, citrus zest, straw hops. Medium carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of light grains, light malt, minerals, lime zest, wet wash cloth, floral hops. Overall light and refreshing...a little sweet and missing hops for a pilsner style lager, but not bad.

12oz bottle pours a clear golden with a small white head. Sweet malt and corn aroma. Taste of sweet malt with drying yeast and a light bitterness. Ok.

Bottle into tulip. Nice golden color but head does not last. Low carbonation. Sweaty aroma and taste. Mild honey and corn notes. Slightly off semi composted grass finish. Bleh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Reminds me od a less tasty brew similar to Bud. My advice is someone who wants to try it...move on.

Bottle shared with northropfrye. Smells and tastes like sweet corn. A bit one-dimensional. Im not sure "sweet corn" is a good taste for a drink. Not the worst thing ever, though.
