nutjes (1290) - Zwevegem, BELGIUM - DEC 8, 2017

Redelijk bitter. Goed spul

33cl bottle at home. Appearance: slightly hazy amber with medium white head. Aroma: hop resin, pine, candied sugar, tangerine. Taste: above medium sweetness and high bitterness. Notes of hop resin, candied sugar, licorice, grapefruit. Palate: medium bodied, sticky texture and lively carbonation. Very intense IIPA. Nicely done.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2017 Really intense, a bit too much so for me, real hopheads only... Something astringent, hostile in the back end that makes it hard to drink.. rather bitter, in a lingering way unfortunately, some grapefruit and pine, orange on the nose, solid head and carbonation

Bottled 330ml (Etre-Gourmet)

Hazy dark amber colour, small but steady white. Citrus and apricot jam aroma. Medium to full-bodied. Quite heavy DIPA with some alcohol but nice citrus, apricot fruityness makes it more or less pleasant. Long grapefruity-piney aftertaste. Clean, well-brewed malty DIPA.

Bottle shared with SinH4 @ hotelroom. Hazy yellow to orange color, medium to full sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while and leaves fair to good lacing. Aroma is heavily hopped and piney, resinous. Taste malts, resinous hoppy, piney, sticky resin and pine hops, grapefruit, piney hop bitter, bitter. Medium to full body, sticky texture, medium carbonation. Nice, I like this!

SinH4 (6393) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - SEP 21, 2017
Bottle. Hazy orange color with white head. Aroma is hugely piney, caramel, medicinal even, toasted malts, spruce. Taste is citrusy, piney, caramel. Warming boozy finish. Medium carbonation, silky mouthfeel. Nice, but very heavy on the piney-medicinal character.
