Alcol molto. Importante. Cremosa, viscosa. Eccellente blend. Koelschtrinker (21492) - K?ln (Cologne), GERMANY - OCT 8, 2016

Thx! for sharing DutchDrebus & Benzai! Sampled draft @ Van Moll Fest 2016. Very hazy dark orange with a tanned head. Nose is sweet Christmas pudding, vanilla, sweet spices,… Taste is weird sweetness, taste is a bit empty, low plastic with Christmas pudding, heavy beer, bit hard to drink partially due to sweetness & heavy raisin, Christmas character, sugar, oak, raisin,… Body is oddly bit empty with soft carbonation, vanilla,… Strange heavy, bit of an odd Christmas beer,… Would have liked a bit fuller body & may some more vanilla oak,.. this is an interesting one, not entirely to my taste but some interesting things happening here for sure. Hazy orange to amber colour with a small off-white head. Smells barley wine, sweat, sticky. Tastes sweet, cloying, intense. Full body, soft carbo.

Sampled at Van Moll Beer fest. Opaque murky dusty dark orange color, medium to full sized beige head. Aroma is malts, overripe fruits, raisins, alcohol. Taste malts, overripe fruits, dark raisins, alcohol, lightly caramel, sweet, lightly sugary. Heavy, but a nice sipper. Gangstergafje (1275) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - JUN 1, 2016
I had the beer at the Kaapse Brouwers 2nd anniversary festival. The looks of the beer are amazing. The color of the beer is black to the naked eye, with a ruby red, brownish glow in the light. The beer pours a nice layer of almond colored soft creamy foam. I like it. The bulk of the foam collapses to leave a nice rather thick drape. The smell of the beer is lovely. I smell licorice, alcohol and oak wood. There is also a nice smell of cherry and red forrest fruits. The smell is in good balance, sweetness, bitterness and sour oaky aromas are perfect together. The taste is nice. There is a good sweetness. There is a nice bitter roast touch in the back of the taste. There are nice almonds, red forrest fruits and oak wood. The beer is in perfect balance. I like it a lot. Markth (149) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - MAY 22, 2016
Bij Kaapse Brouwers 2e verjaardag
Zwart met licht oranje schuim. Redelijk zoet en wat fruit. Heel veel complexe smaken door elkaar. Lekker

Draught at Kaapse 2nd Anniversary. Dark brown with a small tan head. Full body with low carbonation. Quite sweet with nice bitter tones. Raisin, chocolate, vanilla, marzipan, booze and figs. Nice! MarcoDL (5383) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 22, 2016
Draft at Kaapse fest. Aroma of malt, sweet fruit and licorice. Taste has lots of licorice, raisin, malt and sweet booze. Too much licorice for me.
