Bottle from a bottle swap, thanks Monster Magnet!

Vanilla and raisins aroma over chocolate and coffee. Taste is sweet and pleasantly smooth on the tongue. Chocolate and coffee, slight boozy

Bottle received in the European Swap, many thanks to Christos. Pours dark brown close to black with a small light brown head with ok retention and regeneration. Intense nose with lots of barrel. Vanilla, whiskey, brown sugar, alcohol, light liquorice and dark wood. The flavour also has lots of whiskey, vanilla, dark wood, brown sugar, light tobacco, peat and liquorice. Full body, oily texture with soft carbonation, medium to heavy sweet and bitter, light salty. Long finish with vanilla, liquorice and tobacco. Complex, soft and filling.

Bottled. Pours black with an average tanhead. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, chocolate, mvanilla, wood, licorice and molasses. Sweet flavor that ends up slightly more dry and with bitter notes. Full bodied, oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Impy indeed. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is smooth, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Soft smooth dark malts. bring bitterish licorice. Smooth malt cream, touches of dark and milk chocolate. A light fruity spicy spirit in the background. Spicy licorice finish. Interesting.

langeveld12 (602) - NETHERLANDS - NOV 6, 2016
Thick complex black beer loaded with flavors. There’s coffee, chocolate, roast, licorice, sweet fruits, oak, whiskey, caramel, etc. Sweet and light acidic at the start, bitter in the finish. Very subtle, nothing too strong or too weak. This is an already very good stout improved by the barrel ageing. Wow!

UPDATED: NOV 6, 2016 Caña en el señor Lupulo Gijón 05..11..2016. (r36). Color negro intenso con poca o casi nada de espuma beige oscuro. Aromas y sabores intensos maltas tostadas ligeramente carbonizadas. Toques finales licorosos y vinos acabando todo con suave amargo seco. Cuerpo medio a intenso. Buena sensación alcohólica no muy densa y poca espuma. Bastante buena. Para repetir sin duda.
