Z: na początku słodycz winogron, takie słodko midowo-kwiatowe. Dalej jakoś w suchość, taka trochę Ala Brett, trochę alko nalewkowe. S: winogrono, syropek. Beczka zdominowała,

Butelka. Barwa ciemno bursztynowa. Piany brak. W aromacie winogrona, cukier kandyzowany. W smaku duzy wpływ beczki, winogrona, cukier kandyzowany. Wysycenie minimalne. Beczka dominuje.

UPDATED: FEB 11, 2018 Aromat wódki ziołowej z wanilią. Następnie karmel, chlebek. Barwa ciemno brązowa, zamglona z niewielką pianą. W smaku umiarkowana słodycz i duży alkohol. Ziołowy z nutą wanilii. Dominuje smak. Do tego karmel. Spoko ale bez szału.

jandorris (951) - Warsaw, POLAND - FEB 11, 2018
Bardzo dziwne, jabco, winogrona, zioła, masa alkoholu, drewno jakieś dziwne. Na finiszu nuty miodowe, wchodzi słodyczka trochę, ale i tak sredniawka dla mnie.

caesar (7463) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - FEB 9, 2018
Bottle from het Biermoment. Slight hazy copper color, short frothy head. Aroma of booze, raisin, armagnac and caramel malt. Loads of raisiny sweetness, armagnac again. Barrel took over actually, but I like it.

330ml bottle (Bacchanalia, Cambridge) (6:4:6:4:12=3.2)
Anna gets nuts and glue initially, while I get wood and brandy. Deep red, nice tight beige head. Some toffee sweetness in the aroma later, more evidence of there being a beer somewhere, some strange rubberiness too. Very liquoricey taste, quite rubbery. Plenty of alcohol. Very hot vapoury finish. A poor show for a barley wine, this seems fairly barrel ruined.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2018 33cl Bottle, thanks Harmen! Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of loads of booze, wood, oak, raisins, hint of liquorice, pipe tobacco, fruity, hint of green apples. Flavour is hot, alcoholic, sweet, raisins, some dark fruits, hint of liquorice, wood, vanilla, green apples kept in check but certainly there, tiny hint of smoke, bittersweet finish. Full bodied, alcoholic, tasty.

bierkoning (13893) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JAN 23, 2018
Bottle. Dark brown color. Dominating armagnac and vanilla in the aroma. Raisin. Malty sweet, slightly perfumed raisinny flavor with oak, vanilla, armagnac, dried fruit and a hint of caramel. Nice.

tricksta_p (5457) - Steenwijk, NETHERLANDS - JAN 14, 2018
Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is heavy cognac, dried fruits, alcohol, raisins, grapes, oak, caramel malt, sherry. Flavour is quite sweet with a little bitterness and a lot of booze. Body is full and sticky. Not balanced at all, barrel dominates, but surprisingly nice to sip on.
