3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark brown with a small off white head. Aroma is strong cacao and cinnamon, cappuccino. Flavor is strong toffee with some slightly dark chocolate and espresso, with a gentle bitter and warming aftertaste. Not bad but maybe not justifying the high abv with complexity
Keg at The Three Johns, Angel. Black and thick. Big chocolate and fudge aroma. Very smooth. A bit too sweet for me, although there is a bitter and boozy element that comes in to mitigate. rami_pl (4993) - Warszawa, POLAND - FEB 13, 2018

Faktycznie krowka, karmelowo-czekoladowa. Stednio ciala, jednak slodko, ciut kwaskowate posmaki, ciut szczypie w usto (co2+alko?). I tak Bdb+ mR_fr0g (14241) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 12, 2018
Keg at the three John's. An opaque dark brown black coloured pour with a a fine tan head. Aroma is lovely sweet chocolate fudge pudding, Nutella, creme caramel, Kamp coffee. Flavour is composed of smooth chocolate malts, Nutella, drinking chocolate. Lingering bitter dark chocolate bite stops it from being too sweet. Palate is medium sweet, rounded, moderate carbonation. Little alcohol bite in the finish. Drinks good. Nice stuff. Hides the abv well. fkoolen (1427) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - FEB 5, 2018
UPDATED: FEB 5, 2018 Taster @ Borefts bierfestival, Bodegraven. Pitch black, beige creamy head. Nice sweet roasted malty milky coffee, caramel, butterscotch, coconut, hazelnut, vanilla, porto, boozy finish. Great aftertaste. Big body, low carbonation, very soft mouthfeel. ciocanelu (3194) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - FEB 3, 2018
Dark brown color with tan head. Aroma has brown sugar, a bit burnt, sweet caramel, some dried fruits and butterscotch candy. Taste is sweet and sugary at first but gets more balanced towards the finish with light roasted malt notes but still lingers with brown sugar flavor. Medium body with low carbonation. Quite tasty but it lacks some depth and mouthfeel.

Sample @Rbarrabbarabbr. Black with solid beige cream. Sweet coffee, caramel and dark choc aroma. Very sweet flavour, fudge and choc. Boozy and very caramely sweet. Even for a sipper, this is too sweet and cloying. Johnstledger8 (1468) - Dublin, IRELAND - JAN 28, 2018

Bottle 330ml. Jet black, no head, very soft carbonation. Sweet aroma, fudge, chocolate, coffee. Very sticky palate and a texture reminding of porridhe. Taste is somewhat artificial and also a bit too boozy. Not a favourite of the ”candy stouts” Desverger (14037) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JAN 22, 2018
, Copenhagen - Black pour with small tan ringed head. Roasted and sweet malty with opulent chocolate, sweet fudge and caramel notes, some syrup, full bodied, some hoppy support, big sweet malty warming finish into the close.
