Borefts IX, Day 2. Keg. Opaque black - brown beer, good pale tan head. Soft palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Soft rich dark malts, a little dark malt cream. Strong earthy espresso, bitter. Light dry spicy finish leaves a bitter linger. Full on coffee.

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2018 Botella 33 cl en Cimmeria 30..01..2018. (r43).

In short: coffee stout.

MonsterMagnet (1681) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 18, 2018
Pours a pitch black with a mocha head. Nose is full of coffee and green peppers. Taste is espresso, mocha, chocolate and quite some sugar. Sweet and bitter, fairly dense and creamy body, low carbonation. More like a espresso macchiato with sugar than a double espresso?

Bottled 330ml (BGonzo, BB 12/2020)
Opaque colour, small steady beige head. Strong coffee and toasted malts in the nose. Medium to full-bodied. Lots of coffee, sticky sweetness, toasted malts in the flavour. Smooth palate. Hides ABV quite well. Some hops lurking in the aftertaste but mostly coffee roastyness dominates. Coffee overdose but quite well-brewed.

Clear dark brown to black beer, big creamy beige solid head, stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: coffee, lots and lots of coffee. MF: soft carbon, creamy texture, full body. Taste: lots of coffee indeed, roasted, bitter, some dark chocolate. Aftertaste: lots of bitter hops, dry, dusty, very roasted, much more coffee.
